Skokie Public Library undertook a major renovation to modernize public spaces and respond to community needs. The renovation structurally reconfigured numerous spaces by removing sections of bearing walls as well as addressing corrosion damage in several areas of the structure. A signature feature of the library is a monumental stairway. And yes, TSG made it “float.”
