The client desired a complete transformation of space. The subject was an aging food court, light framed structure whose geometries would need to be carved augmented and molded. Cut off appendages mid-bay, rooftop rotunda reconfigured, food kiosks suspended, canopies added and removed, a roof top deck with bar, lounge, facilities and seating for scores of diners added. Ultimately, the changes required that the building in which the renovation was occurring be brought into compliance with current seismic code. Thus emerged Wilde & Greene Restaurant + Natural Market, a 30,000 sq. ft. innovative on stage restaurant and open marketplace.
